Job Chapter 19
Then job answered and said,
How long will you torment me and break me to pieces with your words? Ten times now you have told me I am a sinner. You should be ashamed for you have wronged me. And if indeed I have sinned no one has yet to prove it. If you are determined to set yourselves against me and speak of my disgrace as you see it, know this, that God has wronged me, He has captured me in His net. If I scream out that I have been wronged no one hears, if I scream my anguish, there will be no justice. God has fenced me in and there is no way out. He has set darkness in my path. He has stripped me of my glory and taken the crown from my head. He has broken me down on every side, and I am doomed. Any hope I had he has uprooted like a tree. He has kindled his wrath against me and he counts me as one of his enemies. His troops march against me to vanquish and destroy. Even now they are camped round about my tent. My brothers have forsaken me, my acquaintances have renounced me. My own relatives have failed me and my close friends have forgotten me. My wife and my brothers treat me like a stranger. I am an outcast in their sight. I call my servant but he gives no answer, I beg him, but he ignores me. My stench is offensive to my wife. Even young children find me repulsive and despise to be in my presence. If I try to rise up, they ridicule and mock me. What am I that even my close friends abhor me? All those whom I have loved have, they turned against me. I am reduced to skin and bones and I have escaped death by the skin of my teeth. Have pity on me, have pity on me, oh you my friends for the hand of God has struck me. Why must you persecute me as God does? Why aren't you satisfied with my agony as it is? Oh that my words were written! Oh that they were inscribed in a book! That they were engraved in stone with an iron pen and lead forever! For I know my Redeemer lives and He shall stand at last on earth. And when my flesh has died this I know that I shall see God, that he shall know me and love me. How my heart yearns for this. But you continue to persecute me saying the root of the matter lies with me that I am the cause of all this. You should be afraid for yourselves for your angry words may bring punishment upon you that you may know there is judgment for you are guilty.”

Job Chapter 20
Then Zophar spoke,
“You have given me anxiety and filled me with turmoil so I must speak what is on my mind. You have rebuked me for my comments of your iniquity. You have riled my spirit and incited me to again speak out to you. Job, do you not know this ancient fact? From the beginning of man the triumph of the wicked is a short time. And the joy of a hypocrite is but for a moment. Though the godless be arrogant and full of pride thinking himself higher then heaven with his head in the clouds, yet he will perish for eternity thrown out like his own refuse. Those who knew him will say, ‘Whatever happened to him? Where is he?’ He will fly away like a dream and disappear, chased away like a vision of the night. His family and those who love to him shall never see him again. His children will be left poor and will spend their days in toil to restore his estate. Though he was young and full of vigor, he will collapse and return to the dust. He savored the taste of evil like a sweet thing that one might linger over not wanting it to end. Yet the fruit of his wickedness turns sour in his stomach. It becomes like a deadly cobra venom within him. He gorges himself in indulgence then turns and vomits. God will not let him retain it, he has tasted the poison of cobras. The vipers tongue will slay him. He will not see abundant rivers and streams flowing with milk and honey. All that he has labored for will not give him satisfaction. All the profits of his business will bring him no joy. For he oppressed the poor, violently taking from others what he had no right to. Because he is never satisfied but greedy, he will never see his dreams and desires fulfilled. Eventually he will starve and die off. His self sufficiency shall be his undoing, every type of misery shall come against him. Just when he is about to fill his stomach, God will reign down His fury upon him. Men will take up arms against him, the archer shall take aim and strike him down. When they go to pull the arrow from him, the glittering point comes out of his gall. Terrors come against him, total darkness engulfs his earthly treasures and a raging fire consumes them. His family shall suffer along with him. Heaven itself will reveal his sins and the earth will rise up against him. All the profits of his endeavors will erode away. Yes, his riches will flow away in the days of God's wrath. This is the punishment from God for a wicked man. This is his inheritance appointed to him by God.”
